Since partnering with his wife, Karla Adam Trusler, in 2008, the duo has closed over $600 million in residential property sales, establishing themselves as one of the region’s most formidable and trusted real estate teams. In 2024, they joined Compass to further elevate their practice, integrating the firm’s industry-leading technology and data-driven marketing to provide a seamless, intelligent experience for their clients.

A seventh-generation Texan with deep roots in San Angelo, Alex’s professional philosophy is a blend of heritage, work ethic, and high-level strategy. Before transitioning to real estate, he spent 15 years in technology and operations management, navigating roles that ranged from lean startups to large-scale corporations. This background in executive leadership—defined by his ability to build highperforming teams and cultivate strategic alliances—allows Alex to offer a sophisticated level of service that translates complex market variables into successful results.

Having resided in North Dallas, Preston Hollow, and the Park Cities since 1994, Alex possesses an
encyclopedic knowledge of the local landscape. By leveraging his BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M
and his extensive technological background, he ensures that every client’s listing receives maximum
