Highland Park sits just north of downtown Dallas and, along with the adjacent town of University Park, forms an enclave known collectively as “Park Cities.” The two towns are entirely landlocked within Dallas but are independent municipalities with it’s own Police, Fire and school district.
It’s one of the wealthiest communities in Texas and the United States, known for its luxury homes, tree-lined streets, and well-maintained neighborhoods. The population is around 8,000-9,000 residents.
